I was able to make a trip to La Bombonera in March to see Boca play Argentinos. It was the first game played by Riquelme after he fell out with Maradona and quit the National Team. The crowd gave plenty of support to Roman, and many signs even labeled Maradona a traitor for his treatment of the Boca legend. Seeing my first game at the Bombonera was one of the greatest sporting experiences of my life. The crowd was unbelievable, I would love to see Argentina play Brazil there. I was lucky enough to see It was a decent game, with Riquelme playing well and hitting the cross bar with a long range effort in the first half. Forlin, Figueroa, and Palacio notched the goals for Boca. Palacio’s goal was a true golazo, with back heels from Riquelme and Palermo helped set him up.:
